New Map My Mole partnership
We are delighted to announce a brand-new partnership with Map My Mole (MMM) – a brilliant innovation helping our RNLI lifeguards stay on top of their skin health.
Using an app and imaging lens, our lifeguards can capture high quality photos of moles and get a dermatologist’s expert review within 24 hours — all through their phones, all completely free.
As part of the three-year deal, which is worth at least £72,500 to the RNLI, MMM will supply the lifeguard units in England, Scotland, and Wales* with a kit that enables any lifeguards to get a mole checked by experts at no cost.
Peter Dawes, RNLI General Manager Lifeguard Operations, says: ‘We’re proud to partner with Map My Mole.
‘Together, we’re not only helping to protect the health of our lifeguards but also giving the public the tools to act early when it comes to skin concerns. Safety sits at the heart of both our missions, and this partnership will raise vital funds for the RNLI while helping more people stay safe in the sun.’
*Map My Mole is currently unable to supply the kits to Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.
