Ilfracombe Lifeboat Station
Covering a large stretch of the rugged North Devon coast, Ilfracombe has had a lifeboat for nearly 200 years. The two current lifeboats carry out a wide variety of shouts and four Medals for gallantry have been awarded.

We offer a warm welcome to visitors at our boathouse in Ilfracombe. Our friendly boathouse team can you show you around the station and they are full of interesting information about it.
We also offer pre-booked tours of the boathouse and lifeboats for groups such as schools, youth groups or adult groups.
