Belief members Yvette and Emma attended the station before the crew went out on an exercise to present a cheque for £600, which they raised through sponsorship of their 11 team members who took part in this March’s Dip Dewi Sant.

The group, who take part in the Festive Dip or Dip Dewi Sant every year, also took part in the event's fancy dress competition. This year their own theme was ‘bow ties and ball gowns’, with one of their team Steve winning the whole competition.

Yvette from Belief said: 'Belief is a local fundraising group who raise money for local people and local causes. We have just over 100 members and actively take part in fundraising activities to raise money for local people and causes.

'This year was our 9th year of doing the dip. We all embraced the team spirit dressed in "ball gowns or black ties" to raise funds for our local lifeboat station. We are looking forward to next year and have already decided on our outfits!'

Andrew Wilde who received the cheque on behalf of the RNLI said:

'Every year the fantastic Belief group support our dips, whether they are the Festive Dip or in the case of this year the Dip Dewi Sant on St David's Day. All the crew would like to thank the team for all their continued support of the station and crew.'
