Upper Primary: Fly the Flag

Know where and when it’s safe to go into the water by recognising beach safety flags.

This activity will familiarise upper primary children with various beach safety flags so that they'll know where and when to go into the water.

Workshop resources

Printable flag templates help children learn what each flag means. The children can then voice where they would put each flag to indicate whether it's safe to enter the water – and why.
